Structure​

  • Candlestick framework
  • Volume shown horizontally at each price
  • Left = buyers, Right = sellers (typical)
  • Color-coded by aggression

What It Shows​

  • Volume at price: Where trading occurred
  • Buy vs sell: Aggressive buying/selling
  • Support/resistance: High volume nodes
  • Absorption: Large volume at key levels

Footprint Types​

  • Bid/Ask: Shows aggressive buyers vs sellers
  • Total volume: All volume at price
  • Delta: Net buy/sell volume
  • Cumulative: Running total

Interpretation​

  • Imbalance: More buyers than sellers (or vice versa)
